Alterations and additions to a 1930’s brick dwelling. Modern facilities added within the context of the renovated existing house and a family/kitchen/dining space added to the south of the existing house, with a large roof terrace over.

Seaside residence on a site with a restrictive height covenant. Takes advantage of the limited view opportunities and acts as a counterpoint to the adjoining heritage dwelling.

City of Ballarat - Bridge Street opening

Bridge Street is currently a pedestrian mall. Ongoing work has been taking place with public and interest group consultation with a view to opening it to traffic and bringing activity back to the area. The closing off of the street in the 1960’s has seen a decline in activity over the years.

Healesville Solar House

Pole frame and rammed earth solar house built at the Moora Moora Community, Mount Toolebewong, in the 1970s.

Abbotsford Convent

Pro Bono work for the Abbotsford Convent Coalition in developing concepts for an arts precinct in contrast to developer schemes to divide the convent into residential units.

Warrnambool House

Three storey energy efficient residence overlooking Bass Straight. Views to the sea can be appreciated from an operable glass house in spite of strong off shore winds. The upper glass panels can be opened in summer or closed in winter when the space acts as a glass house contributing to the internal warmth of the house and acting to insulate the internal spaces. Private open space is provided to the sheltered north with a pool and deck.
